The FWA Endowment is a long-term investment vehicle directly supporting our Scholarship Program for San Francisco Bay Area women studying in the areas of finance or financial services.

The Endowment was launched in late 2009 and a Founder’s Circle was established. Anyone making a donation to the endowment before December 31, 2011 will be considered a founding member of the endowment at the following levels¹:

All founding donors will be listed in our Annual Report for 2011 and have their names listed on our website in perpetuity.  Donations made in subsequent years, will be listed in appropriate media with an asterisk identifying the donor as a Founder’s Circle member.

¹A personal donation in conjunction with your employer’s matching donation will qualify at the higher level.  For example, a $250 personal donation with a 100% employer match will qualify at the Bronze level.

A pledge made over several years, will also qualify at the combined level if the first pledge payment is made before December 31, 2011.  For example, if a pledge of $1,000 per year for five years is made, then the donor will be considered a Platinum donor.
