Keri Courant
Keri Courant has spent the last three years working as an Associate
Consultant at Bain & Company, Inc. where she has maintained a unique focus
in the realm of health and fitness. While Keri's first year at Bain was spent
exploring a wide breadth of industries, her last two years have been dedicated
solely to health and fitness-related clients. In addition to strategic and
operational consulting, her experiences include extensive work in Bain's private
equity practice.
In addition to her work at Bain, Keri has founded and leads multiple office
initiatives, many of which are centered on health and fitness and community
volunteer efforts. Outside of work she has served as an officer of Future Women
Leaders, a Bay Area young women's professional group that focuses on supporting
career development through networking, mentoring, and developing leadership
skills, since it was founded three years ago. Over the course of the last year
she has led FWL as both Director of Events and President and is now shifting her
focus towards further developing the organization's Board of Directors.
Prior to working at Bain, Keri attended Brown University, where she graduated
with honors in Business Economics with extensive coursework in Psychology. She
also played on the women's varsity basketball team all four years at Brown and
served as team captain during her junior and senior years.
Keri's passion for health and fitness as well as her aspiration to improve
the health of society has led her to pursue her MBA. She will begin her first
year at Stanford's Graduate School of Business this fall. Keri is especially
appreciative of the support and generosity that she has received from FWA and is
looking very forward to meeting many new mentors and friends.
