Adrienne Fonseca
Stanford
Adrienne has successfully pursued her goals in the face of a challenging
childhood, poverty, and teenage motherhood. With all of this on her plate, she
obtained a B.A. with Honors in Economics from U.C. Berkeley. She successfully
balances her role as a single mom of an eight-year-old son, den mother for the
Boy Scouts, parent volunteer at her son's school, soccer mom and her work at the
Federal Reserve. She was selected by the Federal Reserve to participate in its
Management Development Academy fast-track program. In addition to these many
roles, Adrienne volunteers her time to several organizations including the
United Way and the Management Leadership for Tomorrow MBA Prep Program.
Adrienne believes in setting goals and then finding a way to achieve them.
She is attending the MBA program at Stanford starting this fall. Through her own
experience, she has learned that loans and financial assistance can empower the
attainment of goals and dreams. Upon graduation, Adrienne hopes to secure a
management position in credit administration in which, through community
outreach, she can help others achieve their goals and dreams by being able to
obtain fairly priced loans. Her long-term goal is to attain the position of CFO
at a leading financial services organization.
