Christine Chun
U.C. Berkeley, Haas School of Business
Christine's parents immigrated from Taiwan to pursue a better future for
their children. Christine's father served as a role model for her, shaping an
understanding of the importance of contributing to the betterment of her
community. In addition to pursuing her education, Christine is president of
Women in Leadership at U.C. Berkeley, a judge for Global Social Venture
Competition, and a recent Director of Development at Teach for American. At
Teach for American, Christine further fueled her passion for supporting the
communities in which she lives as she learned more about the relationship
between the public and private sectors. She has recently completed course work
in Strategic Corporate Responsibility.
Christine is attending the Haas School of Business. After graduating, she
intends to initiate her career in brand management, applying her learnings in
business management. She looks forward to her future when she can become a
socially responsible business leader.
