Jessica Boda
San Jose State University
Jessica grew up in Mexico, where she gained an appreciation for the benefits
of education and the opportunities available in the United States. Jessica will
be a senior at San Jose State University in the Fall, where she majors in
Accounting. She currently serves as president of the Association of Latino
Professionals in Accounting and Finance; she was instrumental in resurrecting
this group to its current status as an active participant on campus. She is also
actively involved with Beta Alpha Psi, where she has organized a variety of
community-service activities.
Jessica intends to become a Certified Public Accountant and eventually, a top
executive with a Fortune 500 company. She has been an effective tutor in the
College of Business and would like to use her interpersonal and leadership
skills be a role model to other Latinos.
