Natalya Fedorova

Natalya immigrated from Russia with her husband and three children in the
late 1990s to Stockton, where she and her family lived in a small garage. Intent
on learning English, Natalya quickly began taking language classes. In 2002, she
enrolled at San Joaquin Delta College, where she excelled academically in her
full course load while working part-time and raising her children. She will be
attending U.C. Berkeley's Haas Business School this Fall.
Natalya intends to obtain a Master's Degree in Business so that she can
return to a community college or university and teach accounting. While at Delta
College, Natalya served as a tutor in multiple levels of business and math. She
hopes to coordinate a rewarding learning program that students can use to
receive the accounting skills that they will need in the real world, and to
someday establish a scholarship fund.
