Carolyn Hansen
Dominican University
Carolyn Hansen currently is a Senior at Dominican University, where she is
pursuing her Bachelor of Arts in International Management, with a concentration
in finance, and a minor in History. While in school, Carolyn’s accounting
professor encouraged her to participate in the Tax-Aid volunteer program – a
program designed for low income families to receive assistance free of charge
with the preparation of their tax returns. This volunteer experience, along with
the mentoring of her female accounting professor/advisor, sparked Carolyn’s
interest pursuing in a career in the financial field.
Carolyn also has excelled academically, as she is a member of Dominican’s
Honors Program, and has been named to the Dean’s List for the School for
multiple semesters. Carolyn is a participant in the school’s Alpha Lambda Delta
Honors Society, the Business Association, and has been awarded multiple
scholarships, including but not limited to the Korean American Designated
Scholarship and the Schwab Rosenhouse Scholarship, for her scholastic
achievements – all while working over twenty hours a week to pay for her
education.
