Gaea Dennis
San Jose State University
Gaea Dennis’ interest in finance arose when, after a relocation to Hollister,
CA to assist her brother and his wife with the babysitting of their twin
infants, Gaea began accounting classes at the nearby Gavilan College. Having
enjoyed these classes and wanting to put her accounting skills to good use, Gaea
completed an internship with PricewaterhouseCoopers in the summer of 2005.
Gaea’s accounting knowledge and skills led PricewaterhouseCoopers to offer her a
post-graduate position with the firm, to begin in January 2007.
Gaea, a Senior with a graduation date of Fall 2006, is currently studying at
San Jose State University, where she is pursuing a BS in Business with a
concentration in Accounting. An excellent student, Gaea has received numerous
merit awards, including but not limited to the Financial Executives
International Scholarship, the CalCPA Silicon Valley San Jose Scholarship, two
Beta Alpha Psi Scholarships, and the Collegiate All-American Scholar Award.
Additionally, she has been active on the San Jose State University campus by
holding the Secretary position for Beta Alpha Psi, working as a Tutor and
Instructor's Assistant, and by joining the Beta Gamma Sigma honors society.
