Jessica Smith
Golden Gate University
Growing up on a farm instilled in Jessica the positive, hard-working attitude
that drove her to follow her dreams. Directly after graduating from the
University of Wisconsin – Madison with a BA in Communication Arts, she left for
San Francisco with only $1,300 and no direct contacts. Within two weeks her grit
and determination landed her a job with a world leading financial services
company, Credit Suisse. Inspired by her grandfather’s experience with retirement
Jessica is now working as a Certified Financial Planner™ at Catalyst Financial
Planning & Investment Management to help bring financial peace of mind to
individuals. Jessica is active with the Junior League of Oakland-East Bay, and
is coordinating an East Bay Women’s Squash Clinic and Fundraiser to support
Breast Cancer Awareness.
Jessica is pursuing her Masters in Financial Planning at Golden Gate
University. Her aspiration is to be a recognized leader in the Financial
Planning field.
