Rekha Angepat
Haas School of Business
Rekha grew up in a small conservative town in India. Rekha’s mother modeled a
can do approach, telling Rekha “where there is a will, there is a way”. Rekha
clearly demonstrated the will and found the way to attend and succeed in school,
with her most recent academic achievement being that she received her Doctorate
degree in Applied Mathematics. In addition to pursuing her education, Rekha has
been recognized through several research grants and has taught math at the
university level both in India and in the United States.
Rekha is pursuing her Masters in Financial Engineering at the Haas School of
Business. Her ambition is to meld her strong mathematical and academic skills,
with strong business skills to pursue a leadership role in the field of finance.
