Yekaterina Libershteyn
UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business
Yekaterina Libershteyn immigrated from Russia with her family while
Yekaterina, or Kate, was in her early teens. Having the best English skills in
her family, Kate was responsible for the family’s everyday business and
financial decisions. Early on, Kate discovered the importance of financial
knowledge and determined to pursue a career in the finance field. She is
currently a Senior at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, where she is
pursuing the dual degrees of a BS in Business Administration and a BA in
Economics.
Over the summer, Kate will put her financial knowledge to great use having
procured an investment banking summer analyst internship at the prestigious firm
of Goldman Sachs. She looks forward to honing her skills by building financial
models, researching companies and putting together industry analyses and steps
of action for clients during her internship, and believes the internship
experience will be a stepping stone to building a successful post-graduate
career in finance.
