Hung Nguyen

Hung Nguyen obtained her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Economics at
Harvard University, where she graduated magna cum laude. She will enter the MBA
Program at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business, with an expected
graduation date of June 2009.
Hung’s family emigrated from Communist Vietnam, and Hung was born in an
Indonesian refugee camp. Her childhood experiences shaped her goals of female
empowerment, and Hung’s ultimate goal is to create a non-profit financial
organization that teaches women the skills and strategies necessary to achieve
economic independence. Hung already has amassed extensive entrepreneurial
experience, as she has spearheaded various start-up ventures in college and has
worked in optimizing business models and developing long-term innovation
strategies for several organizations.
