Kanwal Atwal

Kanwal moved to the US with her family four years ago from Punjab, India. She
is now an undergraduate student at San Jose State University School of Business,
majoring in Accounting. While attending college, Kanwal has held a full-time
position supervising the accounting department at Indoor Air Design, Inc. She
will continue to develop her accounting experience with a summer internship at
Ernst & Young.
Kanwal’s academic achievement has been recognized by her membership in the
College of Business honors program at SJSU. She also competed in the PWC XAct
Competition sponsored by PriceWaterhouse Coopers where her team placed second
for its work on accounting standards.
