Lucie Remesova
Notre Dame de Namur University
Lucie started her undergraduate career at Charles University in Prague,
studying Italian philosophy and linguistics. When she discovered that
linguistics, mathematics and finance employ many of the same logical principles,
she decided to change her major to business. However, the Czech Republic did not
offer a business education. This led Lucie to the Bay Area and she attended the
College of San Mateo for three years.
Lucie is currently a senior at Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont. In
addition to her studies, she volunteers with Child Care Coordinating Council in
San Mateo where she provides income tax assistance and tax counseling for the
elderly.
