Michelle Mitra

Michelle considered a career as a professional golfer, but chose accounting
instead. From a very early age, she demonstrated an innate talent for the game
of golf. She pursues that today as the Captain of the Women’s Varsity Golf team
at Dominican University in San Rafael where she will be a senior this fall.
In her sophomore year at Dominican, Michelle took her first accounting class.
That class initiated her interest in the accounting profession. She changed her
major to accounting and aspires to be a CPA. She has an internship with a major
accounting firm this summer.
